Supplies Needed: Thick cotton glove, ketchup bottle and wax
When working on a 90 sportfishing boat and maintaining a showroom shine, Mike Gratton knows a thing a two about wax on and wax off. To be proficient, Mike uses a squeezable ketchup bottle to hold his liquid wax, which is a great tip on its own. It easier to squeeze wax out versus the original bottle and almost spill proof. In addition, Mike puts on a cotton glove and squirts wax into it and then just rubs his metal with the glove. It speeds up my application time and I can really get into tight places without constantly manipulating a rag, says Gratton.
