Sept 23, 2016 This announcement was sent out by Viking Yachts There is a voluntary recall notification regarding Murray Helm Chairs installed on Vikings manufactured from 2005-2013 which has been provided by Viking to the U. S. Coast Guard for publication. The notice has also been provided to Viking owners of record and to Viking dealers. If the top of your helm chair pedestal looks like the above picture, please click here for more information. Please note that Murray Helm Chairs are not limited to Viking boats. If you are aware of anyone who may have a boat with Murray Helm Chairs, please advise them of this recall notice and that they SHOULD NOT USE THE CHAIRS until they have been inspected and fixed.
