The TBC is Texas’ newest and fasting growing tournament. Created by fisherman for fishermen, it has an atmosphere you’re sure to love. In addition to the fishermen friendly rules, the tournament has paid out well over $500,000 in the first two years.
The festivities kick off with a post-registration crawfish boil, complete with live music and plenty to drink. The Calcutta auction kicks off after the mud bugs and the boats are free to leave Thursday afternoon.
In 2013 it was the Bandit taking top honors in the billfish division—turning loose two blues and a sail. Accompanying the stick nose division, it took a 101 pound yellowfin, 55 pounds of wahoo and a 38 pound dorado to take the meat fish categories.
Come see what Texas and the TBC has to offer. And remember, if you don’t win the tournament, win the party– the TBC throws a GOOD one. June 25-28 – The Freeport Marina.
