We are excited to report our first East Coast Sanctioned Cup points were earned in the Hatteras Village Offshore Open over the weekend with the team COVERAGE Captain Hunter Blount (500 Cup pts) winning the tournament with three blue marlin and one white marlin off Hatteras, North Carolina. MARLIN GULL placed second led by Captain Steve Richardson (300 Cup pts) with two blue marlin and 3rd place was won by SEA TOY Captain Bull Tolson (100 Cup pts) with three white marlin. In the Gulf Division the first sanctioned event was the Orange Beach Billfish Classic which concluded Saturday evening May 17th. The top harvest boat was SEA MIXER Captain Devin Totts (500 Cup pts) who weighed in a 528.8 lb blue marlin. Top billfish release boats were 1st place DONE DEAL Captain Jason Buck (500 Cup pts), 2nd place CONUNDRUM Captain Jimmy Crochet (300 Cup pts) and COTTON PATCH Captain Johnny Dorland (100 Cup pts).
