Escapade, Weaver 80
Splash Date: 03/14/2014
Jim Weaver began sportfishing in the early 1980s while running a successful construction company. But he wanted something more. His father-in-law Bill Payne and his wife, Pat had built wooden bay boats in the 60s and 70s, following in her parent’s footsteps. Jim and his captain, Chet Rohrbach, began construction of their personal boat Dream Weaver in 1998. Shortly after completion, the boat was sold. And so Weaver Boatworks was born.
Throughout his whole life, Jim has been a detail-orientated person. He strives to create the best in the sportfishing industry. In their state of the art facility located on Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay they make dreams come true. Hallmarks of Weaver’s boats are quality, style and performance, delivered on time and on budget. “I am passionate about my work,” Jim Weaver says. “I know my customers will get everything they’ve dreamed of and more. That’s my promise from my family to yours.”
The latest Weaver to hit the water is the 80-foot Escapade. She’s a stunner not just for her good looks but also her astonishing performance. And with 3,000 gallons of fuel she’s also ready to take her owners to just about any sportfishing destination imaginable.
