Dock Talk- Episode 3 Preview – Cuba

Nearly 2 years after the US announced it would be loosening travel restrictions to Cuba, the two countries recently reached an agreement on regularly scheduled commercial flights to the island. Its only a matter of time until Cuba is freely open to American citizens.  However, as long as the trip falls within 1 of the 12 purposes, Americans can go to Cuba without applying for a license from the govt. Cuba has been getting a lot of interest from the sportfishing community who are eager to make the 90 mile trip south from Key West and do a little Havana day dreaming. One of the purposes which allow legal travel is a Sportfishing Tournament falls under the Athletic or Sports Competition purpose. Our dock talk guest today was Tom Dyer, the President of the Stuart Sailfish Club who has is spearheading an unprecedented trip with a huge flotilla preparing for the June 2016 Hemingway Billfish Tournament.
