Help Us Stop Our Florida Reefs from Closing 20-30 Percent of the Southeast Florida Coral Reef Tract from Stuart to Key Biscayne -Public Comments Will be Heard at the OFR Committee Meeting June 1-2 in Coconut Creek, Fla.- The American Sportfishing Association and Keep Florida Fishing (KFF) need your help! Please join us on Wednesday, June 1st and Thursday, June 2nd at the Our Florida Reefs (OFR) community working group meeting being held at the Fern Forest Nature Center in Coconut Creek, Florida. While public comment will be accepted on both days, we specifically ask for your participation during the public comment period scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1. Arrive by 8:00 a.m. for coffee and donuts. The first 100 people to arrive will get a free Keep Florida Fishing T-shirt. Plan on standing with us at a 9:00 a.m. press conference and together walk in solidarity to the OFR meeting in time for the 9:30 a.m. public comment portion. The OFR meeting details, agenda and map, along with a KFF flier for posting in your place of business and suggested KFF talk points for public comment are provided for your convenience.
