Day 1 Bite News: Two Cats received the bonus points for a grand slam today. Jim McGrath the owner of Grand Slam Sportfishing is fishing with Two Cats. Capt Ed Dwyer and the Bear Trap team released 6 whites today.

Day 2 – May 12, 2016 Mollie Whopper’s blue marlin weighed in at 507.7 lbs.on Day 2

All but one of the 32 boats are fishing today. Here we go 2nd day of the HVOO 2016! Billfish activity has been good this morning. Only 1 reported released by Hammer Time with a blue marlin. Marlin Gull released a Blue Marlin at 3:20. Skirt Chaser released a white marlin at 12:19 and a sailfish at 10:34. Mollie Whopper’s ETA is about 5pm to weigh in his Blue Marlin at Hatteras Harbor Marina. Come check it out!
