Designed for the new decade, the Hatteras GT65 Carolina delivers a fresh new look for Hatteras Yachts proven GT Series while maintaining the core strengths that make this family of tournament-level sportfishing boats from 45 to 70 feet so popular with passionate anglers. Like all Hatteras GT Series boats, the GT65 Carolina is engineered and built with advanced resin-infusion construction technology to handle rough conditions offshore, so you never have to miss out on the action.
The hull and stringer systems are infused as a single part ’ an industry first ’ to reduce weight and increase strength. The Hatteras Engineering Team used Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis to create a new hull and tunnel design that takes the boat overall performance and handling to the next level, while maintaining the 40-plus-knot top speeds and mid-30-knot cruising speeds the GT Series boats are known for. The GT65 Carolina also is designed to operate with optional twin Seakeeper 9s without impacting fuel capacity.
Below, the four-stateroom, three-head interior boasts the largest master stateroom for a sportfish of its class. The first GT65 Carolina, which made its World Debut at the Miami Yacht Show, showcases Hatteras Yachts core ability to work with owners to customize their yacht fishing features, interior design, and amenities to suit their individual needs and desires.
