November Brings Anglers Back to Panama’s Tropic Star Lodge

Friday, November 20, 2020”This year has consisted of many challenges, and for anglers around the world, one of them has been having to put international fishing plans on hold. Outfitters of all shapes and sizes have had to turn guests away due to COVID-19 restrictions, and the world-renowned Tropic Star Lodge was no exception. Tides turned in Mid-November though, when the Tropic Star team were able to fire up boat engines, dust off tackle boxes, and welcome back exuberant anglers to reap the rewards that the 8-month-untouched waters of Piñas Bay had to offer. The first guests on the water have been putting up an impressive fight, with the 18th of November ending in not one, but two monster Yellowfin Tuna catches of 155lbs and 200lbs respectively, along with two Blue Marlin releases and many other exciting bites on the day. Cuberra Snappers on the downrigger along the Zane Grey reef have been plentiful, and Amberjack and Dorado have been making an appearance too, bringing some of the variety down at Tropic Star. With fishing like they have been having, the team down at Tropic Star wants one thing: To get anglers onto the water, stat! With travel restrictions and quarantine still affecting so many around the world, they have decided to embrace the new normal of travel by offering members of the Tropic Star community an opportunity to book last minute (up to two weeks out) for a great deal on their trip. With Tropic Star usually being booked up quite far in advance, this is a rare opportunity for anglers to take advantage of, and last-minute spots are likely to fill up fast.
