Demonstrating what a truly custom boat building experience is all about, Jarrett Bay Boatworks recently delivered their second-largest build to date. Eclipsed only by the 90-foot Jaruco, the 84-foot open bridge convertible Reel Development represents the next evolution in lavish game boats destined for extensive travel and tournament wins.

With expected wave deflecting bow flare and stunning sheer curve authored by a team of highly esteemed and awarded craftsmen, custom hull #60 blends classic with high-tech as her traditional coldmolded bottom is met with resin-infused composite deck components and cabin top.

Showcasing the next impressive splash from this Beaufort-based builder, Reel Development flaunts a 21’ 8” beam, which affords a massive cockpit complete with a glass front, 210-gallon transom livewell. Forward of the cockpit is a spacious air-conditioned mezzanine loaded with concealed storage.

Below deck, the MTU 16V Series 2000 M96L engines generate a combined 5,200 hp. All that power propels this gorgeous craft to a 40-knot top end while offering up an efficient 33.5-knot cruise. Twin 38kW Northern Lights generators provide ample capacity for every system and creature comfort, while the twin Seakeeper SK16 gyro stabilizers ensure a near-zero roll experience at rest and while underway.

Complementing her lustrous Alexseal Yacht Coatings Aristo Blue hull, the stunning satin cherry-finished interior has been optimized for both comfort and fishing functionality. As you can expect, the woodwork is stunning. Convenient rod and tackle storage is hidden under the large L-shaped settee, along with slide-out storage under the dinette and inside the pantry area. The galley features a full-size oven and microwave with dual undercounter Sub-Zero refrigerators, plus ample cabinetry below and above.

The pantry area accessed at the top of the companionway accommodates a full-size freezer and additional provisions storage. Once the sun sets, the team can retreat to any of the four plush staterooms below, each with its own private head and enclosed stand-up shower. A fifth stateroom and head are located aft and serve as dedicated crew quarters with direct access to the climate-controlled engine room.
