Remembering FSU Legend Bobby Bowden

Florida State University football legend Bobby Bowden passed away Sunday, August 8 at the age of 91. Bowden, helped the Seminoles take on the title of the nation’s longest consecutive bowl streak with the Gator Bowl, which was Bowden’s 33rd straight winning season giving him a career record of 389-129-4. Bowden was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2006 and is only the third coach in college football history to coach 500 games.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had previously presented Bowden with the state first-ever Medal of Freedom in honor of his contributions to his adopted state saying, Arguably the greatest coach in college football history, Coach Bowden legacy stretches far beyond the field, and our state is a better place because of him.” Read more about the FSU legend here.
