The Good, Better, and Best in Gemlux Outrigger Systems

August 23, 2021 By InTheBite Digital Editor

Gemlux, August 24, 2021—At Gemlux, we understand the demands and needs of the boating industry because we are boaters. That’s why we continue to deliver the highest quality Outrigger Systems – equipped with our world-leading Stainless Steel bases, patent and patent-pending designs, and sleek yet robust carbon fiber poles.

Here’s a look into good, better, and best Outrigger System options designed to meet a variety of boater needs.

GOOD
Winner of the Miami Innovation Award, our Coastal Base Outrigger System offers the ability to position your base at any angle with 22.5-degree increments, providing you optimal angles for both fishing and shade positions. This system is perfect if you have a boat under 30’ and are looking for the ideal shade setup, fishing with outriggers on occasion, or pulling multiple lures.

BETTER
Our Deluxe Outrigger System makes it possible for center consoles large and small to deploy outriggers like sportfishing boats – for a fraction of the cost. Designed with bait fishing in mind, the Deluxe Bases allow for multiple baits and incorporate a one-handle design. You can completely adjust up, down, in, and out, all from underneath the T-Top. The Deluxe Bases support 16’-18’ outriggers, and we’ve even designed a new hybrid pole specifically for this base. We recommend boats under 30’ use this system and offer both internally rigged and collapsible outrigger options, so that you can make the best choice for your needs.

BEST

Our highly popular Bluewater Outrigger System features a patented one-handle operation that allows for complete adjustment of your outriggers from underneath the T-Top. You gain streamlined control even in rough offshore conditions. GEMLUX Bluewater Carbon Fiber Outriggers, available in internal or collapsible options, have also been designed to the highest standard for outriggers in the fishing industry. With pole lengths up to 22’, the GEMLUX Fishing System enables you to high-speed troll, pull taglines and multiple lures, and target big game species. This system best suits boats over 30’.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO GET STARTED

Gemlux can also help you get right on the water with our Rigging Kits. Our top-of-the-line kits come complete with some of the most popular parts in the fishing industry. From crimps to clips, every component is what we use to rig our outriggers. That includes a proprietary line that is UV resistant to make your rigging last longer, a patent-pending GEMLOX halyard system designed to work better for longer, and stainless steel ball-bearing swivels. Finally, our SeaSucker Cam Cleat is a simple device that allows you to secure your halyards in any fishing or running position, without installing permanent hardware to your boat. We offer rigging kits for single, double, and triple rigging. We also provide dredge (BOOM), taglines,  and center rigger kits.

No matter what your next boating adventure looks like – whether you want to increase the comfort of your boat for the family or enhance your ability to catch that marlin – Gemlux is ready to make your experience even better.
