Bluewater Celebrates Success in Virginia Beach

January 18, 2022 By InTheBite Digital Editor

bluewater yacht sales

Virginia Beach, VA—Success can come in many forms, but in the world of yacht sales, the most successful people are known for their competitive spirit, relentless drive, unyielding integrity, and passion for the industry. These brokers live the boating lifestyle and work to help their customers do the same. They share their knowledge and expertise with their clients and help them to make the best decisions regardless of their personal gain. Although many brokers succeed in this business, there are certain types of people who perennially rise to the top and become icons in our industry. Bluewater Yacht Sales is proud to work with quite a few of these individuals, and the company recently had the honor of recognizing them publicly at their Annual Awards Ceremony in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Bluewater’s entire staff of brokers, admins, and management came together for the first time in nearly two years to celebrate their hard work since the start of the pandemic in 2020. While most of the world was shutting down, the boat industry experienced unprecedented growth and thrived despite the challenges. The increased demand for boats helped Bluewater achieve back-to-back record-breaking years, with twenty-three people taking home awards in 2020, and another 25 taking home awards in 2021.

There was fierce competition for the top spot, but long-time veteran and Bluewater broker Clark Sneed was presented with the awards for Top Sales Overall and for Top Brokerage Sales. Clark’s consistent performance has earned him these top honors for three consecutive years. Another frequent frontrunner, Scott James, received the awards for Top New Boat Sales and for Most Units Sold. In addition to Clark and Scott, Sales Professionals Jud Black and Chuck Meyers were awarded Bluewater’s top level of recognition, the Paramount Achievement Award. Thirteen other brokers were also presented with awards for their achievements.

Finally, Bluewater announced the winners of the 2020 and 2021 Jan Boone Memorial Award, which is given to the team member who best exemplifies the work ethic, compassion, and selflessness of the late Company President Jan Boone. With a room full of emotion, the inaugural award was presented to Randy Ramsey, with the second annual award being presented to Jud Black. Both individuals have a reputation for unconditionally helping their co-workers, for sharing their extensive knowledge, and for bettering the people around them.

After two years of uncertainty and constant change, the Bluewater team managed to not only improve, but to completely exceed their expectations, and the landscape looks poised to continue that growth into 2022. The new year will certainly be a competitive one, with several brokers already working tirelessly to get more happy customers on the water.
