Caymas 401 CC

July 20, 2022 By InTheBite Magazine

The Caymas 401 CC in the water.

The Caymas 401 CC is designed for serious saltwater tournament anglers as well as discriminating weekend fishermen and their families. Like all Caymas saltwater models, it features the patented Stepped Vee Ventilated Tunnel (SVVT) hull.

Designed by Michael Peters, this revolutionary drag-reducing hull increases speed, enhances fuel economy and delivers a remarkably soft, dry ride in heavy seas. Hardcore anglers will appreciate the 401 CC’s innovative features.

A massive cockpit with optional port and starboard dive doors provides ample space to fish. The leaning post offers abundant rod and tackle storage, along with rear facing mezzanine seating for cruising or watching baits. Twin 45-gallon transom livewells feature premium Hooker Electric pumps and sea chest. Five fish boxes provide over 450 gallons of insulated storage for your big hauls. Lockable rod storage provides security for expensive tackle. An elevated helm station with 3 helm seats provides maximum visibility for safer cruising. The dash accommodates 3 17” displays or dual 22”, along with extra room for additional electronics.

An innovative hardtop features a pass-through hatch, allowing easy access to an optional second station without compromising traditional rod holder placement and storage. With its 11’ 6” beam, the 401 CC also provides a welcoming environment for family and friends. Guests will enjoy an enclosed head inside the cabin, along with a berth for an overnight stay or additional storage. The forward chaise lounge houses 75 gallons of dry storage plus a 15-gallon insulated cooler to create a relaxing social center while cruising or enjoying the sunset. Multiple seating options are available for the boat’s massive bow. Triple- or quad-engine configurations are available up to 1800 horsepower, in addition to the options for a Sea Keeper 3 and a diesel generator and air conditioning.
