Viking 46’ Billfish, MACK900, powered by twin 900 HP Scania engines.

The 13- and 16-liter engines are the heart of the Scania marine power solution. They’re created to handle any challenge with confidence. The reliable, efficient, and light-weight engines span from 700 to 1,150 horsepower and are built on Scania’s global modular platform. Numerous options of transmissions, cooling systems, instrumentation, and additional equipment enable almost unlimited possibilities to create a solid and powerful foundation for years of superior performance.

Built on a Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) engine block and employing a simple wastegate turbocharger, Scania engines deliver top-of-class performance without the need for additional turbos or superchargers. The resulting lighter weight, combined with Scania’s proprietary Engine Management System (EMS) and common rail extra high-pressure injection system (XPI), optimizes fuel delivery enabling impressive torque, lower noise and exceptional fuel efficiency.
