Thanks InTheBite for attending, sponsoring and promoting the Texas Swordfish Seminar! It was a pleasure meeting you Dale.
With the help of InTheBite Magazine, the Swordfish Seminar was a huge success and we raised around 400,000.00 for the US.Veterans of Everyday Heroes Inc. This event would not be what it is without the support of great folks like InTheBite promoting it. I just noticed you have a new forum here and will start posting up some fishing trip and pictures soon as the wind lays out here in Texas! Thanks again you folks are first class all the way!!! Great seeing all of y’all there again! I still can’t believe we went through BBQ for 800 people and 2500 lbs of shrimp, crawfish and boudin not to mention the 150 lbs of pork cracklings! All we had left of 500 lbs of potatoes and corn fit in a 48 quart cooler!

I was amazed we went through that much food also, I went to get some shrimp and they were all gone. It was a great time and a great event. Looking forward to seeing everyone over the year I met lots of new people this year!!

Great event! It was nice to put a face to the name, and meet some cool folks! Nice to meet Nick Stanzick – again! – I’ve read a bunch of articles about him and his family, but to actually get to sit down and chat with him is really cool. Those guys are LEGEND!!
The food was off the hook, and a ton of money was raised for a good cause!
Thanks, Brett for making it happen again! I’m continually amazed at you telling everyone your way of catching these swordfish. I don’t think I would have ever caught one without the info from the seminar.
